Mohawk Valley Collective preserves historic bulidings to promote community, learning, the arts, and cultural heritage in the upstate New York villages of Fort Plain and Canajoharie. We have been successful in rescuing a former Universalist Church in Fort Plain from demolition and are converting it into a community arts center called Unity Hall. Currently we are in the early stages of restoring the West Hill School, a landmark building in Canajoharie, NY.
