Centro Tyrone Guzman. Established in 1974, our vision is a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive Latino community that belongs and contributes to the social and economic vitality of Minnesota. Two key strategies guide our work toward this vision: Health & Wellness, and Education. All Centro Tyrone Guzman programs are grounded in cultural roots and delivered within the context of family and community. Our programs are designed to address disparities as social concerns – not individual or community deficits – and Centro Tyrone Guzman empowers Latinos to actively engage in shaping the policies, structures, and attitudes that influence their well-being and that of generations to come.
