Orchid Capital Collective

Founded in 2022, Orchid Capital Collective (OCC) is a fiscally sponsored project of Movement Strategy Center. We invest in community-owned ventures transforming birth and reproductive care. Orchid is building a bridge to source and redistribute capital and resources to an ecosystem of Black, Indigenous, Queer and Trans, and people of color led solutions reclaiming our histories and legacies to deliver the care our communities deserve. We align this strategy with Orchid’s values of: Abundance, Community Expertise & Power, Beloved Stewardship, Reproductive Justice, Experimentation and Creativity, Flexibility, and Integrity.

We are a mixture of leaders from philanthropy, academia, impact investing, venture capital, and clinical care coming together to build a holistic investment firm operating at the intersection of economic and reproductive justice. 

Our team operates in constant practice to be in right relationship and align on shared expectations for ways of working, internal and external relationship building, and communication.
