Restore Oregon’s mission is to preserve, reuse, and pass forward the places that reflect Oregon’s diverse cultural heritage and make our communities vibrant, livable, and sustainable. Restore Oregon promotes historic preservation as a means to preserve Oregon’s diverse cultural heritage and to help advance solutions pertaining to issues such as affordable housing, rural economic development, and climate change. We advocate for effective policies and incentives, deliver education programs, and directly intervene to save endangered places that matter to their community. Oregon’s only statewide preservation nonprofit, Restore Oregon includes more than 7,100 supporters and has an annual operating budget of approximately $650,000.
