About the Center for Care Innovations  

At the Center for Care Innovations (CCI), we spark, seed, and spread innovations that advance health equity and justice. How? Through our work with organizations serving historically underinvested and marginalized communities, CCI:  

• Sparks new ways of working and creative problem solving.  
• Seeds the research, testing, and implementation of fresh approaches.  
• Spreads promising practices, so that no one needs to struggle on their own or reinvent the wheel. 

For nearly 25 years, CCI has been a project of the Tides Center, and receives operational capacity and grant-making support. In 2025, CCI plans to spin-out from the Tides Center and become our own 501(c)3. We are currently a staff of 28, headquartered in Oakland, California.
