  • Misión

Our mission is to assist in the transition to a safe, independent life for all those who have been affected physically, sexually, emotionally, or economically by domestic abuse and to work to promote a culture that fosters justice, equity, and safety.

    Acerca de

Formed in 1974, Steps to End Domestic Violence (formerly known as Women Helping Battered Women) has evolved into the largest provider of domestic violence services in Vermont. In addition to providing emergency shelter and housing advocacy, Steps to End Domestic Violence offers 24-hour hotline services, legal advocacy, economic justice, transitional housing, programs for youth and children, and education and prevention programs. We believe that all people have the right to live without fear of abuse - sexual, physical, emotional, or financial.
