About PhilDev

PhilDev (Philippine Development Foundation) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enabling success for Filipino youth, professionals, and entrepreneurs in science and technology. 

We provide training programs and scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) that are based on the innovative spirit, leadership, and entrepreneurial journey of Dado Banatao, the Filipino-American entrepreneur and engineer who has played a significant role in the design of computer chips. PhilDev specializes in nurturing an innovative mindset and fostering entrepreneurial skills. We are dedicated to unlocking Filipinos' unique talents and capabilities and in building a community of Filipino entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry experts to propel conversation, representation, and success in today's tech-driven world. 

We aspire to empower Filipinos to break boundaries and lead in the science and technology industry. We envision a world where Filipinos are synonymous with innovation and achieve success as engineers, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

PhilDev has two, connected arms of the organization. PhilDev S&T (Science & Technology) is based in Manila, Philippines where PhilDev’s scholarship and training operations are managed. PhilDev USA is based in the San Francisco Bay Area to engage with the Filipino community in the United States and drive fundraising activities. Each is overseen by a Board of Trustees.
