Misión
Future Leaders in Action works to cultivate the next generation of social sector leaders while supporting youth nonprofits. We place fellows in youth-oriented nonprofit organizations to implement enrichment programs which cultivate their leadership skills, while paying fellows a living wage.
Acerca de
Future Leaders in Action runs a three-month long fellowship program by placing emerging leaders with youth-focused organizations, while paying a living wage. We currently place fellows with organizations in Central Iowa, Chicago, IL, New York City, NY and Portland, OR. The fellowship starts with a one-week leadership training retreat, which fellows attend. After the training, they work on-site with their partners full-time with additional remote professional and leadership development through FLIA. Since 2015, FLIA has had nine fellowship cohorts with a total 45 fellows who have completed the program.
