The Yukon Fish and Wildlife Management Board is established under the Yukon First Nation Umbrella Final Agreement to ensure the continued well-being of fish and wildlife populations for the use and enjoyment of all Yukoners and future generations while protecting First Nations special interest in wildlife. In order to do this, the Board, acting in the public interest, provides recommendations to responsible governments on issues related to the conservation and use of fish, wildlife and their habitats.
