CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate Program)
Misión
The mission: The Iowa Child Advocacy Board responsible for the CASA Program trains and supports community volunteers to serve as an effective voice in court for children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect, strengthening efforts to ensure that every child lives in a safe, permanent and nurturing home where they can thrive.
Acerca de
CASA Volunteers are making a difference in the lives of children who have experienced abuse and neglect who, through no fault of their own, find themselves involved in the confusing maze of the child welfare system. CASAs do independent investigations, monitor what the children's needs are, report to the court, and take the time to know the child. Our trained volunteers are committed individuals who stand up for children who cannot speak for themselves.
We serve Woodbury, Plymouth and Monona Counties.
