Women and Children First is an international development charity, specialising in Maternal and Newborn health in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Our mission is to save lives of mums, babies and young people world-wide. We create community health groups with our local partners in the world’s poorest countries. These community health groups empower women, young people and community members to find sustainable solutions to preventing and reducing the health problems they face (such as HIV, Malaria) which means mums and mums-to-be can give birth safely to healthy babies around the world.
