  • Acerca de

¡FLACC! is a platform that provides visibility to Chicanx, Latinx and Indigenous choreographers from the U.S. and Latin America. Our annual showcase seeks to connect and strengthen these communities through multi-media dance performance, education and discourse.

Departing from traditional and folkloric dance forms, FLACC’s culturally nuanced, hybridized and politically charged dance genre brings a refreshing perspective to the contemporary dance sector, igniting conversations with dance-theater enthusiasts and Latinxs internationally. FLACC creates an inclusive space along the “cutting-edge” continuum of classical contemporary dance to conceptual performance art, giving historically marginalized choreographers a welcoming space to present and workshop their art.
