The Erie County Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving and promoting the study of our region’s history.

Collect: We collect a broad range of objects made or utilized in Erie County and information including photographs and documents related to the history of Erie County.

Preserve: We care for the objects and document we collect, and work to preserve the historic building we occupy.

Promote: By exhibiting our objects and making documents and photographs available we share our county’s history with the general public.
