Smile Community Centre Children's Home

We are a community based organization that empowers lives in the informal settlements of Nairobi,Kenya. Our children's home is a safe haven for orphaned and vulnerable children in the informal settlements of Soweto,Nairobi,Kenya.

Through our charity missions we have seen youth,women and children gain support to improve their lives.

PROGRAMS

• Feeding program - We have a seasonal feeding program based on available resources that feeds over 300 children
• Education program - With focus on primary and secondary education in our children's home
• HIV/AIDS Support program - Here we conduct awareness and referral programs.Some of the children we support are already under care and HIV medication through referral program
• Sports - Our children participate in sports e.g football and basketball

MISSION

To promote self-reliance, education and well being of orphaned and vulnerable children,women and youth in the informal settlements.

VISION

To see a community free from illiteracy, lack of sustainable income and poor health.
