Amigos de las Américas inspires and builds young leaders through collaborative community development and immersion in cross-cultural experiences. The San Francisco Chapter selects and trains youth from San Francisco to participate in the summer program where volunteers spend 4-8 weeks in a Latin American community, working on a service project with local leaders and local youth.
