Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester

Volunteers are the heart of who we are. Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester (LVGW) is a community nonprofit supported by a dedicated team of trained volunteer tutors. Our mission is to provide the adults of Greater Worcester with the English language literacy skills they need to thrive in our community. LVGW provides essential English language literacy programming for adults in Worcester, MA. Our two core programs are one-to-one tutoring and ESOL courses. Our tutoring is free, and courses are funded by community contributions. We provide confidential, individualized, and year-round educational programming. English language literacy is the road to economic security for the 600 students we educate annually!
