The New Bedford Wind Energy Center was established within the New Bedford Economic Development Council to ensure that the activities to develop the offshore wind industry are fully integrated into the city’s comprehensive economic agenda.

The New Bedford Wind Energy Center is the platform that builds local capacity around offshore wind development in New Bedford. Our mission is to fully capture all of the opportunity possible for maximum job creation, investment and positive impact throughout the community from offshore wind.
