International Foundation for Population and Development (IFPD)

Established since 1999 in Lausanne (Switzerland), IFPD works as an intermediary between social investors and experienced non-governmental organisations. In collaboration with highly qualified advisors, IFPD ensures a focused and adequate use of collected funds and provides ongoing monitoring of the recipients' projects. The Foundation aims hereby at developing its projects towards financial sustainability and local self-governance. The Foundation advances primarily programmes, based on human rights, that enhance the quality of life for women and their families in developing countries by providing access to education and health services, as well as economic opportunities.
