6:8 Centrum

Guided by faith, we seek to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8), uplifting the poor and needy in White River through food relief, skills development, youth and early childhood programs, and compassionate care, fostering hope, dignity, and community transformation.

• We provide relief of the most basic form of poverty to any member of the community of White River and surrounding areas by providing: meals, basic food parcels and clothes.
• We aim to establish a vegetable garden project that can supply the food parcels and employ needy individuals on a part-time basis.
• We aim to establish an Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre for needy families as well as to identify, train and employ needy individuals as ECD assistants.
• We aim to establish an Echo Community House in conjunction with Echo Youth Development for young adults from different cultures.
• We aim to establish a centre that provide skills development programmes and opportunities to any member of the community, especially needy individuals.
• We aim to provide a safe haven of care, love and support to needy individuals and families. In this we partner with CMR White River as well as NG Church White River to provide counsellors, life coaches, mentors, pastoral and social services to look after the spiritual needs of our clients.
