Camp Kesem is a national non-profit dedicated to setting up free week-long camps for children ages 6-16 whose parents are suffering from cancer. There are 63 chapters nationwide, and I am part Columbia University's chapter. Camp Kesem is run entirely by college students with the exception of three professional staff, 2 nurses and a mental health professional.
