Polynesian Cultural Exchange

Polynesian Cultural Exchange is a program led by young adults under the direction & supervision of Afuha’amango Cultural Nonprofit. It is a project geared towards outreach in all levels of life, without regard to race, sex, origin, education, political or religious beliefs. We promote positive outreach in many various ways, including developmentally disabled housing, senior citizens advocacy, youth leadership training + volunteer work including the revitalization of LTC patients throughout San Francisco Hospitals, job placement, internships, tutoring, studio recording, web design, construction, future expansion in process. We utilize the talents of our volunteers. Our mission: Our mission is to increase services that are productive to the community and to facilitate cultural activities that will assist Polynesians/Pacific Islanders identify with their culture & to promote and advance cultural competency. Our sole mission is to be a blessing. We seek out resources to promote effective outreach to implement services such as, leadership training, guidance counseling, pre-intervention programs, clean slate programs, staffing resources, job placement, nonprofit housing, work exchange programs, tutoring, after-school programs, culture oriented dancing, photocopying and data entry with plans for expansion.
