Founded in 1974, Coastal Community Foundation empowers individuals, families, and organizations to make lasting impact through permanent, endowed funds for charitable giving.

The Foundation works with each donor to create an individual philanthropy plan and empowers recipient organizations to expand services, create new initiatives, and implement long-term programming.

Coastal Community Foundation is affiliated with the international Council of Foundations and specifically serves nine counties in coastal South Carolina: Charleston, Beaufort, Berkeley, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Hampton, Horry and Jasper. The Foundation maintains office locations in Charleston and Beaufort.

Unique in its mission to foster philanthropy for the lasting good of the community, Coastal Community Foundation facilitates long-term, transformative giving, allowing donors to give back and for our coastal community to look forward to a brighter future.
