The UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families & Communities provides children with the best opportunities for health and well-being, and the chance to assume productive roles within their families and communities. The Center helps society to create health promoting environments for children so they can assume productive roles within their families and communities. The Center has created a unique partnership of University faculty, students, and researchers; service providers; community organizations; local residents; businesses; and government agencies to:

•Transform communities into healthier environments for children

•Educate the next generation of leaders for careers in community service
