St. John's Church, Lafayette Square

St. John’s shines as a beacon of God’s love through faith, worship, care, and community, and offers a place of grace at our historic corner in the nation’s capital.

From our organization as a parish in 1815, St. John’s, Lafayette Square has been a powerful symbol of faith in the heart of our nation’s capital. Steeped in a rich history as the “Church of the Presidents,” we are a community that seeks to respond to the needs of today through our worship services, renowned music program, outreach ministries, and Christian formation offerings.
