Georgia Writers Association is a nonprofit organization focused on the skill, the craft, and the art of language and communication. It is dedicated to heightening cultural awareness and literacy and to providing information and support to writers with culturally diverse backgrounds; to connecting them with the public and one another; to encouraging and strengthening their proficiencies through an array of speakers and programs at regular meetings; and through workshops, conferences and seminars; retreats and contests; the formation of satellite groups across the state; and the publication of a bi-monthly news/magazine and other publications.
