The Social Innovation Exchange (SIX) is a global community of over 5000 individuals and organisations – including small NGOs and global firms, public agencies and academics - committed to promoting social innovation and growing the capacity of the field. Since the SIX was formed in 2008, it has grown into the premier global community for social innovators.
SIX works hard to connect, support, and inspire social innovation practitioners all over the world as they emerge, as well as to shape policy and put social innovation on the international agenda.
SIX runs a variety of programmes to achieve its aims. This includes several international and regional conferences each year, TelePresence (international videoconferencing) debates and running the SIX website (www.socialinnovationexchange.org).
