The Cedar Tree Foundation is a small family fund created by the late pediatrician/ entrepreneur Dr. David H. Smith. Dr. Smith believed strongly in the power of individuals and organizations to make significant changes in our world, and that view is reflected in our grant making.

The Foundation does not fund capital improvements, scholarships or grants to individuals, or projects outside of the United States. Our granting is limited to tax-exempt, non-profit organizations.
