The Center for Latino Advocacy, Resources and Organizing (CLARO)’s mission is to build collective power within San Francisco's Latino community and other underserved communities by engaging in education, community organizing, and advocacy that promotes social justice, environmental justice, and civic engagement. CLARO exists to make sure our communities aren’t just consulted - they are key stakeholders represented and equipped to win real change.

We envision Latino communities as decision-makers and builders: shaping safer neighborhoods, stronger local economies, and public systems that work for everyday people. CLARO believes that lasting change happens when residents have the tools, relationships, and organizing power to influence policy and investment.
