Alternatives in Action is a non-profit organization in Alameda, CA at Alameda Point. Our Purpose is to create innovative experiences and environments for diverse populations of children, youth and adults that challenge them to become effective citizens who will have a meaningful and powerful impact on the world. By effective citizens we mean people who know what they THINK, FEEL and BELIEVE and are inspired to take meaningful ACTION in the world. We have three programs: Bay Area School of Enterprise (BASE Charter High School; HOME Project (After school program; HOME Sweet HOME Preschool (children ages 2-5)
