The aim of Fondazione Child is to promote a child-centred culture through a close examination of the causes and treatments of physical and mental diseases, as well as of behavioural and mood difficulties in children and adolescents. The Foundation encourages researchers to enhance their motivation, interest and competence in the field of child and adolescent mental health.
Fondazione Child promotes the following activities:
- Training of young researchers who are interested in acquiring specific knowledge in the area of developmental pathology and child mental health research methodology;
- Supporting career advancement of clinical researchers who are willing to be involved in developmental psychopathology research;
- Supporting research programs and projects aimed at establishing international research and intervention networks.
