Family Bridges, Inc.

The mission of Family Bridges, Inc. (formerly the Oakland Chinese Community Council) is to empower the most vulnerable members of the Asian community, especially the elderly, the newcomers and those with limited English language skills, by providing them with the assistance necessary for them to lead self-sufficient, independent lives.

We operate five service programs including two Adult Day Health Centers for the frail, elderly, disabled. We run a youth center, a social service unit, which does information referral to Chinese immigrants. and a senior drop in center. We also operate In-Home-Supportive-Services for home care and Legal Language Access Project.
