BFF.fm - Best Frequencies Forever is a community radio station, broadcasting online from the heart of San Francisco's Mission District.
"It feels like San Francisco when you listen to this station." - Peter Hartlaub, San Francisco ChronicleBFF.fm supports, mentors, and provides opportunities for Bay Area DJs from all walks of life to learn radio and DJ skills and is both a platform and community for people who love radio and may not otherwise have had access to it.
Our staff of 115 volunteer DJs are the people you stand next to at shows and ride Muni with. We’re your neighbors. We share the music we love on the radio because that’s what drives us, not algorithms or commercial interests.
We believe in the power of community radio to bring people together. Through the Internet we can be heard anywhere -- in office cubicles, cars, through headphones in the park -- giving people worldwide a chance to discover something new.
