In Our Words: A Salon for Queers and Co.

Created earlier this year as an initiative between Chicago's LGBT Change and Civil Rights Agenda non-profit organizations, In Our Words (inourwordsblog.com) creatively blends non-profit work, activism and blogging, in a way that's both impactful and fun. As a blog, we look to great outlets as Salon, The Huffington Post and NPR as great models on how to create content that both stands up for change and stands out from the rest of the pack. We strive to give the queer community a similar resource: a blog that represents the diversity that makes our community so fantastic.
