Women of the World empowers women from all nations to achieve independence, economic success, and a voice in their community.
Acerca de
Founded in 2008 by Samira Harnish working out of her Honda Pilot, Women of the World aims to help forcibly displaced women regardless of immigration status get their footing and become independent and successful here in the U.S. We provide customized case management services, working in-depth with each woman to holistically get her needs met and help her achieve her goals. We offer English classes and educational workshops and help with job placement and career growth. We provide a safe space for those who feel lost and alone in a new country, and celebrate with our women as they reach their goals, one step at a time!
