Habitat for Humanity Capital Region

Habitat for Humanity Capital Region brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Habitat for Humanity Capital Region builds decent, affordable homes in partnership with qualifying families. Completed homes are sold to families via zero-interest mortgages. We are an Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which has built more than 200,000 homes all over the world since 1976.

Habitat for Humanity Capital Region has been working in Greater Lansing since 1987 and has helped over 110,000 families. Habitat keeps homes affordable by enlisting volunteer labor, seeking donated services and materials, and coordinating land donations.

Most homes are built within the Greater Lansing area. Many have been built in partnership with local churches and congregations. We have also been blessed with the opportunity to partner with many local businesses and organizations.
