Idaho State University, a distinguished Carnegie-classified doctoral research university, invites applicants for the newly created, challenging and exciting position of Director of Recruitment and Admissions. ISU is located in Pocatello, Idaho, a community of 54,000, which is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery and popular recreation areas in the nation, including Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley and Coeur d’Alene. Residents enjoy a wide variety of leisure activities including golfing, fishing, boating, hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobiling. Idaho State University has an annual enrollment of over 15,500 students and receives approximately 10,000 undergraduate applications annually. Enrollment is steady. However, ISU is poised to grow as a result of population growth in Idaho (an increase of 21.1% from 2000-2010), affordability of tuition and fees, and the State Board of Education’s mandate that 60% of Idahoans complete at least a certificate or associate degree.
