Community Assisted Rides

Community Assisted is a non-profit organization with a mission to maximize the independence and well-being of older adults by enabling connections with others in their community.

Community Assisted Rides is a non-profit organization that works together with volunteers to provide rides to older adults in the Lyons, south Proviso, and Riverside townships. Volunteers provide accompanied transportation to medical appointments, and life-enhancing errands such as the grocery store, hairdresser, bank, and church, as well as conducting telephone calls and visitation.
