BerkCare’s mission is to create family-like homes and an inclusive community where adults with developmental disabilities can live healthy, fulfilling lives—supported by meaningful relationships, shared daily life, and individualized care that centers choice, voice, and autonomy.

We believe people thrive when they feel known, included, and respected — and when support is built around real life: shared meals, routines, community outings, friendships, and meaningful roles.

We serve adults seeking a safe, stable home environment with person-centered support that prioritizes dignity, choice, and autonomy. Our values are inclusion, compassion, accountability, and community. We encourage residents to participate in the life of the Berkshires through local activities, arts, recreation, volunteering, and everyday connection.
