Chicago Community Ventures (CCV) is a not-for-profit business development organization that provides innovative capital, business solutions, and economic development strategies to businesses in Chicago's emerging markets, which include enterprises located in low and moderate income neighborhoods and owned by women and/or minorities. CCV is poised to address the needs of these businesses and to stimulate sustainable business growth. We seek substantial social and economic returns from all our activities, such as: the creation of living-wage jobs with benefits, wealth creation and retention, and economic revitalization. Our focus is on serving high growth businesses that show tremendous potential for revenue and job creation but are still building their track record or are challenged in accessing the resources they need to meet important milestones. We believe the revitalization of inner city neighborhoods will be realized by fostering community ownership, and opening urban areas to a diverse range of businesses.
