Transgender Law Center works to change law, policy and attitudes so that all people can live safely, authentically, and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity or expression.

Transgender Law Center champions the ideal that everyone should be treated fairly and equally. Unfortunately, people who don't fit narrow gender stereotypes face discrimination that undermines our common human dignity. By working for and with transgender people and our allies to change laws, policies and attitudes, Transgender Law Center makes it possible for us all to be who we are and live safe and fulfilling lives.
