Green Map System is an adaptable framework for charting green living resources, nature and culture in hometown environments. Each locally-created Green Map is a fresh perspective that encourages discovery and personal involvement, greener daily choices, networking and collaboration for community wellbeing and climate health.
Our NYC office is both the development center for the award-winning global eco-mapping network, and for the local NYC Green Map project which provides maps, tours and more.
Currently, over 940 Green Map teams are active in 65 countries, with hundreds of published and interactive Green Maps in use. We share a co-designed iconography, mapping platform, and youth, community and professional resources that are used worldwide. Your participation and help for this community media movement is welcome!
