Clinic in the Park

Clinic in the Park is a collaborative model that brings together local nonprofits to the Orange County Great Park to create a "One Stop Shop for Health." This coalition works together to provide health screening services, education on prevalent health issues, referrals to community services, and assistance with health insurance enrollment. The Clinic is an accessible venue through which children and parents alike can enjoy the amenities of the OC Great Park such as cultural performances, live music, lush playfields, and an educational tour of an organic farm. We hope to use feedback from partnering nonprofits and visitors to Clinic in the Park to contribute to the academic literature on mobile health clinics and establish a set of guidelines that other cities that use to create their own clinic in the park.
