Our mission is enrich children’s lives through playful learning. Free and guided play builds a child’s social and academic development. At Imagine Children’s Museum, we promote the power of play: learning and growing by doing what every child loves to do best…play! Our interactive exhibits and activities encourage children and their families to role play, experiment, splash, think, wander and create together in a place where they can feel physically and emotionally safe.

Imagine Children’s Museum is committed to inclusivity, nurturing meaningful interactions between children and their caregivers, and supporting young learners in thriving environments. We strive to make learning accessible and engaging for all children, emphasizing the power of play in education. Every child and family deserves playtime together at Imagine. Community Access Nights and discounted memberships are a few ways we work to ensure that all families have an opportunity to share in the fun. We strive to enrich our community by serving as a resource for schools, family service organizations and other local nonprofits that share the common goal of making children’s lives better.

As the word implies, “Imagine” is a vision, a sense of possibility and a source of hope. Imagine’s team works to help strengthen and nurture all children by fostering a stable and creative environment in which families can focus on having fun while learning together and regaining their connection to each other and their community. Further, Imagine offers programs that celebrate and advance cultural awareness, diversity and acceptance.

Imagine partners with school districts, childcare centers, social service providers and other nonprofits to build a strong network of support for children and families. Through these partnerships Imagine works to address a scope of emerging community needs including: serving low-income, at-risk children suffering from the challenges of parents juggling multiple jobs, or job loss, and supporting families who are dealing with illness, death, addiction, homelessness and intergenerational poverty.

• Free Community Access Night on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
• Free/reduced cost elementary school field trips for under-resourced schools;
• Summer literacy program for children who are behind their peers in reading skills;
• Afterschool science clubs provide educational enrichment and emotional support and guidance.
