Hampton Roads Innocence Clinic

The Hampton Roads Innocence Clinic (HRIC) is a non-profit legal services organization dedicated to exonerating the wrongfully convicted. HRIC also educates lawmakers, legal practitioners, and the general public about the causes of wrongful conviction, and works in cooperation with them to identify systemic defects within the criminal justice system that are ripe for reform.The Hampton Roads Innocence Clinic is located in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and serves victims of wrongful conviction in the state of Virginia. HRIC accepts cases where exoneration is possible with or without DNA evidence. Because HRIC is a non-profit organization, it depends on the donations of generous individuals as well as socially conscience organizations to exonerate as many affected individuals as possible.
