"40-th parallel" is a non-governmental, non-profit organization seeking a better resolution for conflicts, better education for children and youth in the framework of ethnicity and discrimination, peace education and intolerance. "40-th paralell" also seeks to achieve a better understanding between people of different nationalities and promote cross-cultural contacts. Civic education is a priority for it. It has also mission dedicated to study Caspian region and its resources. Organization will provide information on the Caspian resources and the region itself on the whole in a wider geopolitical context. "40-th paralell" will also help with the demining of the freed territories from occupation.
