About Our Organization
Vinebrook Community Service (VCS) derived from Vinebrook Services which has been in existence for 7 years. VCS is a nonprofit 501 c (3) organization that provide education and support to thosee deem as "at-risk population." VCS believes in valuable potential for self development in populations that are classified as at-risk. We provide tools for self-advocacy to individuals and families involved in agency-dependent services or institutional mandates. VCS provides direct self development education or organizational capacity building to participants of our programs in an effort to promote self- sufficiency (the first stage of self-advocacy). Self -advocacy is done through our SKILLS program that encompass a wide range of individual and family agency dependency.
