The Junior League of Chicago, Inc. is a metropolitan organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The Junior League of Chicago, Inc. reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. The Junior League of Chicago is dedicated to strengthening and transforming our community through effective action and leadership of well-trained volunteers.
Our nearly 1,000 members actively volunteer in the community on projects that tackle our three signature issues: Literacy, Meeting Essential Needs, and Violence Prevention and Awareness
We offer a wide variety of formal and informal training opportunities to help members learn, grow, and apply their knowledge and experience. Our training programs are designed to assist members with the tools they need to build a better community here in Chicago.
