Misión
Beyond the Book is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that aims to reimagine remote learning and to inspire students around the world through peer-to-peer mentorship and personalized educational experiences. We help K-8 students thrive in their academics through homework help, class organization, and mentorship, all while fostering a greater learning community.
Acerca de
BTB personally matches high school "Study Buddies" with K-8 students to participate in free, 30 minute mentoring sessions. Our sessions span a variety of different subjects: Math, English, Languages, Science, Mentoring/Advice, and more. Sessions are a fun way for students to stay engaged with online learning while developing an impactful bond with an older student mentor. The role of Study Buddies in BTB is not only to offer students help with their school work but also to motivate them, give them a better understanding of how to learn productively, and make learning fun for them.
