Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living

The Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living advocates with compassion for the dignity and rights of people with disabilities and their families in our service area. We understand it is our consumer’s right to choose what is best for themselves and their families. Our goal is equal access for all: to services, to employment, and to the benefits our society offers. We encourage our consumers to live their lives to their fullest potential.

IVCIL is a non-profit organization, non-residential, community-based organization serving people with disabilities in LaSalle, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall, and Stark Counties. We assist our Consumers with learning about Self-Advocacy, Independent Living Skills, and Peer Support. We serve as an ITAC amplified phone selection center. We have a free Medical Equipment Loan Center. We provide lists of Personal Assistantants to people who need a PA. We Transition people from nursing homes to living independently in the community. We also provide Information & Referral.
