Lazos is looking volunteers to represent us in virtual meetings as social assistance, education, mutual aid groups, fundraising efforts, arts and culture, etc, Lazos use community based participatory action research to collect data and create sustainable programs, this data is collected by community members and analyze by Rutgers University researchers. Since 2003 migrants from Mexico has being creating community programs like the marigold project, New Brunswick 4-H, promoters training on different health topics, educational and cultural events and workshops like day of the dead, Guelaguetza and 5 de mayo in New Brunswick NJ. Binational conferences and students -faculty exchange, all this with the support of different institutions.
